General terms and conditions of use of the notification form

City as a Platform Notification form is an application maintained by the City of Helsinki, where information about various non-municipal services and sites in Helsinki and the Helsinki metropolitan area is entered.

The person filling in the form is responsible for the accuracy of the information and undertakes to update it.

The person filling in the form is responsible for ensuring that the information submitted does not infringe the copyright or other legal or contractual rights of any third party. The person completing the form is responsible for ensuring that the information provided does not contravene any law or good practice.

The City of Helsinki will delete inappropriate or false information. The City of Helsinki does not guarantee and is not responsible for the correctness and accuracy of the content entered via the service or the information obtained via open data.

The City of Helsinki is not liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by conclusions or actions based on the information or content entered via the service.

The City of Helsinki decides on the publication of the information (text and images) or part of it provided by the person filling in the notification form. The City of Helsinki is under no obligation to publish the information.

All information submitted via the notification form is freely accessible via an open interface. Two licensing options are available for photographs, as described below.
The user of the open interface data is subject to the Creative Commons BY 4.0 licence condition.

Any disputes between the user of the registration form and the City of Helsinki or any disputes arising from these Terms of Use shall be governed by Finnish law. If the dispute cannot be settled by negotiation, it will be settled by the District Court of Helsinki.
